Pastoral Care

At The Roundhill Academy, we provide outstanding pastoral care to support our students to be the best that they can be. All students and staff belong to one of four houses, Charnwood, Swithland, Bradgate and Watermead. Each house is led by a senior member of staff who supports the work of their Tutors as Head of House. The Tutor is the first person to meet students during morning registration and we believe that this monitoring and supportive relationship is pivotal to individual success at school

In addition to the house system, we have a well-established Student Services team who provide support inside and outside of the classroom. The team works closely with a range of outside agencies, including the school nursing service to ensure that needs are met and young people have access to current information and support.
